Howdy y'all,
Here I am stopping by to say hi and update you on my life. May and June have been WONDERFUL months.
May started out with a trip to Seattle, WA to attend THE FIRST COUSIN WEDDING!!! My dear cousin Rebekah married Pat at a cool urban church in downtown Tacoma, WA. Surrounded by family and friends they were married by my uncle John, then we danced our faces off before sending the happy couple off in a sea of bubbles! Our family hasn't been all together since Yaya and Papou's 50th wedding anniversary party in December of 2015 so this weekend was seriously amazing. Some other highlights of the trip were getting to go to dutch bros and drink both of my favorite drinks, and then Yaya and I spent time walking the boardwalk and riding the ferris wheel.
The rest of May was pretty chill, worked, hung out with friends, had strep throat for a few days, went to trivia. Normal Taryn things.
June has been exciting for many reasons. The first reason is that we hired two new consultants, JC and Rebecca, and they arrived in Kansas City!! Training started and we are having a great time getting to know one another. The second reason June has been excited is that Justin and I moved into our new two bedroom apartment. The extra space is delightful and I am loving having a connected bathroom. I am jealous of Justin's closet space though. The third reason is that my little sister Chloe came to visit! She arrived on May 11 and will be leaving July 22. We have been having so much fun together hanging out and crossing off items on our Kansas City bucket list. The fourth reason is that Berkli, my cousin / Justin's sister came to visit. She arrived a week after Chloe and is also leaving on July 22. It has been so crazy but so fun at the same time.
This weekend I have a four day weekend and I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT. Chloe and I have lots of plans and the weather is supposed to be nice (as of now.)
I am excited for the rest of the month! Many more exciting things to come!
