Hello, hello, hello!
It is hard for me to grasp that the summer is over. I had a delightful summer with my sister Chloe and cousin Berkli. Everyone called my apartment a "youth hostel," which it kind of was...but it was super fun. Some highlights of our time together include: getting snow cones together, going to the Saturday market, driving to STL just to go to a ranch restaurant, and spending every Sunday at the pool.
At the end of July, my family got together for our annual family vacation. This year the cousins got to plan it, which meant I ended up planning it. We went to Salt Lake, Utah, stayed in a wonderful airbnb, and spent the week eating and playing cards. We went on a hike, saw the Mormon temple, and spent a lot of time in the hot tub. It was so great to be with the fam for the week. I did not check any emails and really let myself relax and be in the moment with my cousins. I had an amazing time being back in the dry heat. It was a nice break from the humidity of Missouri.
August is already half way over, I started my last fall semester of grad school #MastersinMay and I am ecstatic about it. It has been so nice to see all of the other students in my cohort, but getting re-acclimated to the amount of reading and driving that grad school brings me has been HARD. I am looking forward to the fall semester, I have a few trips planned, some work, some play, but all of them I am excited for.

Ciao, ciao for now!
