Fiesta!

Today was the last full day of my au pair experience. I woke up and had breakfast like normal. I got dressed and brushed my teeth like normal. I went downstairs and talked to the boys and watched cartoons like normal. I ate lunch with the boys like normal. We had English class like [semi] normal. They wrestled me and yelled at me and didn't listen like normal. But today was NOT normal. Today was the day we all realized we were saying goodbye. Maybe forever. [doubt it] At 5 ish Moni came home and took them to the pool, Sora went to say goodbye to her family before going on vacation with the family. I quickly began transforming the kitchen into a party room. I put up streamers and blew up balloons and taped them to the wall. I wrapped their presents and went to the store and got a cake and some icecream along with drinks. I got everything ready for make your own pizzas and waited.  They were so excited and loved their presents. I bought them these little toys called "playmobil clicks,"  they really like. We made pizza, there was music playing in the background that we danced to. We ate cake and took pictures and had lots of fun. Nico, who I always thought didn't like me the most, started bawling and saying he didn't want me to leave. He made Moni ask me if I would come back someday. He was super sad and it made me feel better about thinking he hated me all this time. Lucas gave me his mini Spanish flag so I don't forget Spain when I'm gone. Their friend Dani who I really like came over and had pizza with us so it nice to  get to say goodbye. Right now, they are outside playing until he has to go home. Usually I would be upstairs avoiding all that happens after dinner but it's the last night so I decided to stay down here. I imagine that tomorrow is going to be quite sad but right now I'm enjoying what a fun party we had and how yummy the cake and pizza was!
