Hey everyone!
So I am sitting in my hotel bed, watching National Treasure waiting for 12:15 to roll around so I can go to the water park to float around the river and tan!
This week was the first week we were in the office everyday. We all thought it was going to be a really long week but it actually wasn't. We had a great week training and I learned so so much this week. We were supposed to get our schedules but we didn't so we have been pretty sad about it but hopefully we will get them this week. There is nothing to special that we did this week. A lot of work, working out, eating dinner, and doing laundry. Half of us were gone this weekend visiting family and friends so it was a pretty chill weekend. We did go mini golfing though and I got second place and I am usually terrible so that is exciting!
Here is a little info on the 7 awesome women I work with.
Aubrey-She is from Missouri. Aubrey is super funny. We are super mean to each other but in the best way and it is hilarious. She shares my love for Harry Potter so we bond over that. We also share a love/hate relationship with working out and push each other to go to the gym when we have free time. Aubrey calls me Spud. I haven't quite figured out my nickname for her yet.
Kiley- Her name is Kiley Ruder, so we call her Kruder because that is her email and it is so funny.
She is from Illinois and is super chill. She will randomly start singing when we are driving in the car and it is always a treat. She only lives a few hours away and her sister is getting married in a month so she has spent the past two weekends at home and we are always stoked when she comes back to us!
Kelly- Kelly is from Long Island and she has this little New York accent, or maybe Long Island accent I'm not sure. She always says "bizarre", "absolutely not" and uses her hands to talk. She is so sweet and when she talks you just have to listen to whatever she says because her voice is so calming and smooth. She is fiercely loyal and protective of her little brother and always has the best stories to tell.
Juliann- She is from Detroit, Michigan and always says she is friends with Eminem. She has THE cutest accent that I am obsessed with. She always tries to say things like us and it comes out so precious. I always catch myself saying my "a's" like she does. ex: sAHHHginaw vAAHHlley. Ah like Ahhh a monster! not AWW. When she tries to talk like us though she says AWW a little too pronounced. I don 't know if any of that made sense but she is great!
Corrinna- She is from Buffalo, New York and definitely has an accent. She is super petite and is vegan so basically only eats fruit and veggies so we are always wondering if there is gonna be food for her to eat when we go out to eat. She is a second year consultant so we always look to her for advice and she has been super helpful. She also is very chill but when she makes a joke it is always soooo funny.
Emily- She is from Ohio and is our newest crew member. She has the curliest hair I've ever seen! She loves to dance and although we haven't gotten to know her that well yet she is finally even with our training so that is great!
Y'all know Jessi so I wont say more except that it is great to live with my best friend!
Basically I love my crew of consultants already. We have so much fun every single day, whether we are training, eating dinner, working out, driving around, going out, or exploring. I am so excited to travel but I am so sad to leave my new friends. I have already learned so much from them and I know that we will be friends for a long time after this. I love the inside jokes, the family dinners, our car rides back and forth to headquarters and especially our WEIRD conversations. They make training enjoyable and I am not afraid to ask "dumb" questions or ask for clarification because I know they all support me. It is so cool that we are all from different chapters, different states, basically different everything but we can come together and be such great friends and coworkers.
If you can't tell, I'm SUPER happy. This job is awesome and I am enjoying myself immensely.
I cannot believe it is August! We will be leaving to start traveling this month so that is so exciting!!
It is almost time to go float the river, my favorite activity so I will talk to you all sometime soon!
Have a great week!
Ciao Ciao for now!
