First and Second Visit

Hello all!

The last few days in Indy were wonderful. Lots of good food and fun conversation like always. It was a sad realization that the next time we would be in Indy would be our last time!! BUT, we are trying not to think of that.

My first visit was to help with the women of Knox College in Galesburg, IL with recruitment. I stayed with the chapter president and her roommates. They were all super nice to stay with! The week was filled with cafeteria meals, recruitment prep and TOO MUCH DESSERT. I totally understand how everyone gains their freshman 15 now. The women of Theta Nu are great. All of them have a distinct personality and are into a lot of different things. I didn't have a lot in common with them except our shared love of Harry Potter, which was enough for me!! The buildings on campus were beautiful and the oldest Beta Theta Pi fraternity house was on campus so that was really cool. One downside to my visit was it was SUPER cold every single day. I am so thankful for my new winter coat and gloves. I didn't pack a hat or warm skarf so I am feeling a little dumb but oh well.

I traveled to Cedar Rapids, IA on Sunday to visit the women of Theta Alpha at Coe College. The week has already been so wonderful. I was able to meet with the advisors, go to a chapter meeting, give a social media presentation, witness a candle pass, go to a sisterhood, and go to zumba already in the few days I've been here. All of the women are so sweet and so eager to learn from me. I am already sad to leave them even though I have the rest of the week left. It is just as cold here as Illinois which is sad but I have loved my time here so far. It started snowing on our way out of zumba and I was not happy! I ended up buying a fleece headband to cover my ears because I am a dummy and didn't bring one of the many I have at home.My head is now much warmer.

Tonight I am going to a basketball game with the women and I am pretty excited. I loved going to basketball games with my sisters at BSU so I am eager to go with these lovely ladies. We have a lot of fun plans for the rest of the week that I am looking forward to as well.

Hope all is well wherever you are.
Ciao ciao for now
xoxo
