Hola amigos,
My time at Theta Eta was great. I had THE MOST COMFORTABLE dorm bed ever. It was wonderful. My three roommates were never there so I had the whole suite to myself almost the entire time. The Theta Eta chapter was small, only 16 members, but they were wonderful to hang out with. Everyone was super sweet and laughed at all my jokes. ( we all know that is the only prerequisite for me to like you) The week went by really quickly, probably because I was pretty busy and partly because I was SO excited for vacation.
The highlight of my week was when the president, Rachel, took me to dinner in Tulsa. The drive is about 30 minutes of unlit highway. We had planned on going to a pizza place but when we arrived there was a sign on the door saying it was closed because of a fire. Just before we walked over to the pizza place we were paying for parking when a homeless man started yelling and running towards us. I was panicked and Rachel was super chill about it and then this cop car pulled over and took care of it. I was really shook up and when I found out the pizza wasn't going to happen I was devastated. We ended up walking over to a pub and grill and I had a delightful sandwich and sweet potato fries and all was well. We woke up early the next morning to head to the airport! It was a fun first time in Oklahoma!
