Hey y'all!
Happy May Day!
I am shocked that it is already May. This semester has gone by so quickly.
I am officially done with my first year of grad school today! INSANE!! This time next year I will have my Master's degree in College Student Personnel Administration! WOW.
The past few months have been delightful. I visited Jessi in San Diego for spring break with Ryann. we had a wonderful time hanging out in the sunshine and eating AMAZING food.
Justin and I joined a volleyball league! Our team has not won yet, but we've been having a really good time.
I finished another successful round of whole 30, which was much easier the second time around. I experimented with a lot of new foods and made up a few new recipes which was really fun.
We have continued to go to trivia, and WE HAVE ONE THIRD PLACE TWO TIMES! We are so good, it is ridiculous.
The most exciting news I have is that this Thursday I am flying to Seattle for my cousin Rebekah's wedding!!!!!!! I get to see the whole fam and hang out and I am SO FREAKING EXCITED!! It has been sooooo long since we have all been together and I am looking forward to a wonderful weekend with my family.
Summer is coming to Kansas City so here you will hear my whining about the humidity once again. I am very excited for another summer in KC though. Now that I am more familiar with the area and have friends, there are so many things I am excited to do!
Along with working this summer, as part of my graduate program, I will be interning at Longview College. I will work there after work and on the weekends, which is going to be really great experience for me.
