2017 Recap

Like I said last year, each year my Papou writes a Christmas letter explaining to everyone what has happened with the family throughout the year. Here is my second attempt at that!

I started the year off having just returned from Pittsburgh after working at APO National Convention. My first meal of 2017 was pizza, which was perfect. By the end of the month, I had a new roommate! My cousin Justin moved to Kansas city at the end of January. He brought his futon and a few other things, and slept in the living room until we moved into our two bedroom apartment in June. He is now moving back to Boise next week. I'm going to miss him but I am glad he is following his dreams to coach football. We had a lot of fun together, eating way too much fast food and swapping tv show binges.

The summer was wild. Berkli and Chloe came to visit and we had a super fun summer together. I also worked at a community college for a school internship which was cool. I spent a lot of time at the pool and at yoga!

The fall was spent going to class, traveling a lot, going to a lot of football games, as well as a million hours of watching football with Justin. I got to travel to NY and Canada to see Niagara Falls! It was definitely a highlight of 2017 for me!

I ended the year in the most perfect way. I was home for Christmas!! I had a wonderful time in Boise with my family and friends. It was so lovely to be back in the most perfect place on earth and I am counting down to the next time I get to go back.

Overall, I've had a great year. Living in Kansas City has been so fun and so rewarding. I have loved creating memories with my friends here, I've loved having people visit me, and I have loved traveling here and there while always having my home to come back to.

2017 was a great year, but I have a feeling 2018 is going to be even better.

Here are some of my favorite pics from 2017!

Happy New Year everyone!
Ciao ciao for now!
